Altar Ego Press Release
“ISABEL FAY GIVES A BARNSTORMONG PERFORMANCE OF HER OWN SUPERBLY CRAFTED SCRIPT…THIS IS AN EXTRAORDINARY CALLING CARD BY FAY. PURE MAGIC” Chortle
Following her critically acclaimed Fringe debut in 2006 with Magic Steve's Disappearing Act, Isabel Fay returns to Edinburgh with her irrepressible charm, and brilliant delivery, she brings three darling characters up the aisle. Well, one of them's a bit of a tit actually…
“THIS IS ONE FRINGE PERSONALITY YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO FORGET… ISABEL FAY HAS CHARISMA GALORE” Three Weeks
Shanece is almost definitely going to be sick, but she'll carry on decorating for the wedding, after all, the quicker she does it the sooner she can have a tinny. Her gay wedding planning service Up the Aisle can cater to any occasion, particularly with Shanece's latest creation - a life-sized Madonna centre piece (although she's actually not sure if it was meant to be Jesus's mum or the one with the pointy nips)
“ISABEL FAY IS A FANTASTIC DISCOVERY… EVERY TIME SHE PLEASES… SHE IS A NAME TO REMEMBER AND ONE TO LOOK OUT FOR IN THE FUTURE” Hairline
Margo is outraged that her campanology group Rings A Bell are late. God it's probably totally Brian's fault, maybe she shouldn't have made him ring the boomer bell with his Jeremy Beadle claw, or practice breast touching on an orange, but he really is just inferior.
“ISABEL FAY IS QUITE SIMPLY OUTSTANDING… IT'S CLEVER. VERY CLEVER.” Gig Review Scotland
Blodwin has accidentally told all of her work colleagues, family, friends and neighbours that she's getting married, and the thing is, well, she's not. But that doesn't mean it couldn't be true. So she's “borrowed” a wedding to prove them all wrong. And she's got a fleet of pink doves to release during the vows and a twelve tiered cake with diamonds on it! Actually that's a lie too, she's got to stop doing that. With a special guest vicar in every show.
“THE ADORABLE ISABEL FAY IS WARM, FUNNY AND GENUINELY FABULOUS… DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW” Fringe Report
Isabel has just finished filming BBC3 pilot - Dan Clark's How Not to Live Your Life , and following the acclaimed response to her appearances in the first series of ITV2's Comedy Cuts , she's been invited to participate in series two, which she films in July. Other TV credits include Objective's Dog Face for E4 and Paramount 's Short Cuts with Dan Clarks Guide to Dating .
