Isabel Fay

Most recently comedy writer/performer Isabel Fay has appeared as a guest lead in How Not To Live Your Life on BBC3, and as a performer/writer on Cash Point (Monkey Kingdom sketch show for the BBC Comedy Online). She has also just appeared in short comedy film Clive Hole with David Schneider and Karl Theobald.

Isabel is developing her sitcom script Little White Lies with RDF Comedy, and is about to shoot a Sketch Teaser of her own work with Silver River. She is also developing a sketch show live with David Armand – The Works at Madam Jojo’s.

Isabel’s 2008 Edinburgh Pleasance solo show Don't Let a Gift Horse in the House transferred to the Leicester Square Theatre, and the short internet sketch she made for the show has over 35,000 hits  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4hB6YZpe34

She's also completed filming a series of Armando Iannucci directed commercials for Nationwide.

Isabel's other credits include BBC3's Comedy Shuffle and as a writer/performer she has appeared in all 3 series of ITV's Comedy Cuts.  She has also written and performed some reports for Monkey TV's online show Newslog (http://www.log.tv/Default.aspx?alias=www.log.tv/newslog) alongside the likes of Steve Punt. She co-starred with Dan Clark in Dan Clark's Guide To Dating which appeared on the The Paramount Comedy Channel (http://www.paramountcomedy.com/shortcuts/series.aspx?seriesID=9) which led her to be cast in the series How Not To Live Your Life for BBC3.

She was a member of the cast for E4's Dogface, and BBC3's pilot Toju.  Other adverts include a Nescafé Skinny Latte commercial alongside Arabella Weir and the Boots ‘Secret Santa' commercial.

Isabel's 2nd Edinburgh show Atlar Ego was critically acclaimed, and the BBC made a short film about it for their comedy website which became a huge hit, both there and on YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqBT8E1-XAY The bride character from the show is now being developed into a sitcom with RDF Comedy

Her live work is always a collaboration with award winning director Matt Holt (who directed Brendan Burns if.comedy award-winning show) and award winning producer Tom Hopgood (produced Laura Solon's Perrier award winning show). 

In 2006 her debut Edinburgh show Magic Steve's Disappearing Act also generated a great media and industry buzz and her character Annette Cadabra became an instant hit on the comedy circuit.
